Sacraments are ritual actions in worship which, according to Scripture, were instituted by Jesus. In the sacraments of baptism and communion we ask the Holy Spirit to use water, bread, and grape juice to make visible the grace, forgiveness, and presence of God in Christ. In the United Church of Christ, we celebrate two sacraments including Communion and Baptism. Confirmation, while not a sacrament in the United Church of Christ, is also an important celebration in the life of the church.
If you have specific questions about Baptism, Communion, or Confirmation please see Pastor Gary after a Worship Service, or by calling 607-722-1017 to schedule an appointment.
